Off topic, but Yahoo Messenger.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

What it is... when i sign into yahoo messenger, lately it hasn't been alerting me of any new emails in my yahoo account even though there are new emails there. I have checked all the settings in messenger(Alerts and sounds etc) and everything is fine. It's pissing me off now and i wondered if anyone else is having this problem?

Hey buddy,
Yahoo is all jacked up with me...even though it does tell me of my new messages...after a little of 5 minutes or so...it always freezes on me constantly...then I have to relog on the internet again and log in to yahoo once more, only for the same thing to happen after a few minutes...Hell, I even re-installed the fugger and nothing...still does the same crap.

Oh it is? Skid, is it still happening? It is still the same with me here, i thought i had a problem, so i uninstalled and reinstalled messenger but the same shit.

Well... still no email alerts when i first sign into messenger (And i check my mail and there are new mails).

It seems to only happen when i first get online and log into messenger, if i then sign into yahoo mail, all further emails with give me an alert with messenger. Weird as fook and a little annoying still [img]tongue.gif[/img]

By the way... here is the weird thing...

When i switch on the pc i click messenger and when it's loaded i get no alerts even though i go into my yahoo mail and there ARE emails. After i have done this, all emails that i recieve then, i will get the email alert. I know it's not that big of a deal because it is only happening when i first get online and click on messenger, but it never used to do this. If i had new emails, then it would alert me the minute i logged into messenger before. Not now, and it bugs me... fuggin' yahoo! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Oh one more thing! I recently installed the Yahoo! Anti-Spy thing. You think maybe this has something to do with it? My messenger mail alerts were working fine before i installed that so i'm thinking maybe that? Skid, is this the case with you also maybe?
